![]() Jane Watson qualified as a Feldenkrais practitioner after a four year training in 1999. She came to the Feldenkrais Method after a career in dance and theatre working as a performer and director. Through these studies Jane built an understanding of the body, and how the physical, mental and emotional selves interact and relate to each other. Jane Watson qualified as a Feldenkrais practitioner after a four year training in 1999. In 2014 she converted rural buildings to create a beautiful, tranquil space called Yavington Studio in the heart of Hampshire countryside near Alresford. At Yavington she sees clients individually, runs weekly classes and retreat days for individuals and businesses. Her passion is working with movement to help people release tension both physically and mentally. Jane Watson came to the Feldenkrais Method after a career in dance and theatre working as a performer and director. Studying theatre in Paris at the Ecole Jaques Lecoq of theatre and movement she went onto train in Japanese dance in Tokyo. Through these studies Jane built an understanding of the body, and how the physical, mental and emotional self interrelate. She went on to found her own movement theatre company Watson & Co which performed both at home and abroad. After her first son was born Jane became a senior lecturer at Winchester University for 13 years teaching on the Performing Arts degrees.
