Energy healing therapies focus on removing congestion that forms in our energetic circulatory system - our energy centres (chakras), our pathways of energy flow (meridians) and our energy field (aura). This congestion, or energetic ‘sludge’, builds up as a result of the stresses of life and because of our human tendency to focus on negative emotions and negative thinking, rather than on the positives in our lives.

The mind never stops thinking, analyzing, and trying to figure things out – a person has about 70,000 thoughts per day. Yet most of the time we are unaware of this self-talk. What meditation does is still the mind and the constant thoughts for a period of extreme relaxation which reduces stress and anxiety levels – like a pressure release valve.
You must first be able to love yourself in order to truly be able to love other people. If you aren’t comfortable in your own skin, you can never be truly comfortable with others. If you don’t believe you deserve to be treated well, you will start to attract people who match that energy and who don’t treat you well. And as for ego, the more you feel good about yourself, the less you feel the need to show off or act in any ego-led way.
