This is a time of much change. The clouds of chaos that Change kicks up can sometimes be confusing, troubling and can bring up much fear. Sometimes the fear is so strong, it can seem paralysing or debilitating. As we are all going through this, it is worth remembering that the resilience of ‘I AM’ is second to none. One can go through experience after experience, taking blow after blow – and like a rubber ball, ‘I AM’ bounces back up over and over again. For as long as I have been on the spiritual path, I have heard the wisdom of those talking about the ‘I AM’ Presence – our Higher self, our Monad or God self. The mighty I AM is defined as our unique and immortal true identity and, as I have found, personally and with clients, has been within us the entire time. We are our ‘I AM’ presence. Between Lives Spiritual Regression sessions tell us that souls choose to go through their challenging experiences to continuously evolve and reach higher levels of consciousness. As such, most of the time, when we go through challenges and rough patches, ‘I AM’ sits back, observes and learns whilst the Ego, Mental and Emotional bodies participate in the drama. The fact of the matter is that the Ego, physical mental and emotional bodies are a lot more fragile than ‘I AM’. The emotional body can hang onto hurt and fear, the mental body to anxious thoughts or confused patterning, and the Ego – the most fragile part – is easily broken, distracted or manipulated. Whilst these parts participate in and hold onto the triggers, ‘I AM’ bears the challenge, learns from it, and assimilates that singular experience into the sum whole. Just as importantly, ‘I AM’ lets go and moves on. The parts that hold on to the challenge are predominantly Ego, the mental and emotional bodies. BE as Resilient as ‘I AM’. When we experience challenges, it shakes us. On a positive note, the shaking shatters preconceived mindsets, and enables us to break conditioning and habits, think bigger and move towards a new way of Being. However, whilst we are going through it, it is scary, and can sometimes be traumatic. This needs to be acknowledged. However, there are steps that one can take to flow through these challenges with more ease:
What can help us let go and move on is the deep realisation that each and every challenging experience that we have is Impermanent. ‘I AM’ is Eternal. Whilst it might seem to the Ego, mental and emotional bodies that it will take an eternity to get through a challenge, in fact, it is just a drop in the ocean, when we compare it to ‘I AM’, it is a drop in the ocean of infinite time. At the end of the day, even though sometimes it does not seem like it, we have the choice to decide how long we are going to participate in the drama before letting go and moving on. We can choose whether we embody the ‘I AM’, become the Observer quickly and let go – or whether we stay in the Ego, mental and emotional bodies, and drag out the drama. Whilst there are no right or wrong choices, there definitely is a choice. ‘I AM’ resilient. Yes you are. Reena
