How does being out in nature make you feel?

How does being out in nature make you feel? Many people know that just being in close proximity to trees, plants and flowers can make them feel relaxed, calm and centred. This is due to their natural energy vibration being lifted.

Flower remedies themselves are healing solutions containing the energetic imprint of flowers, plants or trees which when taken can raise our own energy vibration making us feel better mentally, emotionally and subsequently physically. The remedies also open up our channels for reception of inner guidance and connection to our soul so we naturally become more intuitive and know how we can help ourselves.

We are energy beings being comprised of 99.9999% energy and are constantly vibrating. Our energy vibration can vary and we connect and resonate with others vibrating at a similar rate.

Each emotional state we experience has its own unique frequency or vibration too. With emotions such as anger and fear being low and emotions of love and gratitude being high. Our current emotion state directly affects our natural vibration state which is actually high. Abraham Hicks quoted: ‘You don’t have to work at your higher vibration. Your higher, pure vibration is natural to you but you have to let go of the thought which is holding your vibration down’.

So our natural energy vibration state is high but life and certain associated challenges and subsequent thoughts and emotions can cause our naturally high vibration to drop. A significant drop in energy vibration can lead to some level of depression. Also when our energy vibration drops we can experience symptoms of physical illness (disease).

For optimal health and mental/emotional wellbeing, we need to keep our vibration as high as possible and flower essences containing the energetic imprint of flowers, plants and trees can assist with this.

The Bach Flower remedies discussed below were discovered by Physician Dr Edward Bach (1886-1936) who developed his own system of treating illness based on the healing properties of flowers.
He wanted to treat the person as a whole (holistically) rather than just treating the symptoms. He knew that Mental and emotional states could have a direct and powerful effect on physical health and that Bacteria and viruses which cause disease could only grow in the body if the mental and emotional state of the client was negative.

Some suggested Bach Flower Essences to help elevate your emotional energy state which may drop with Winter Blues are Gorse, Mustard, Willow and Sweet Chestnut:

Gorse
A person who can benefit from taking Gorse has given up and doesn’t believe things can get better. They may well have feelings of resignation and hopelessness. They appear to have lost their sparkle and enthusiasm for life.
Gorse can work subtly yet powerfully to encourage joy and vitality and help bring back the light.

Mustard
A person who can benefit from taking Mustard may feel sad and melancholic although they have no explanation for why they feel this way. They experience a gloomy depression which comes from nowhere.
Mustard remedy encourages inner serenity and helps lift black clouds so joy can be gained from the positive things in life. Mustard is also used during PMT and menopause to help lift hormone-linked depression.

Willow
A person who can benefit from taking Willow may feel very sorry for themselves. They often feel bitter and blame others for everything going wrong. They can also feel put upon, resentful and powerless.
Willow encourages positivity and acceptance of others.

Sweet Chestnut
A person who can benefit from taking Sweet Chestnut experiences deep anguish and has reached the most extreme state of depression. They feel desperation, great fear and that all is lost.
Sweet Chestnut encourages positivity and acceptance. It increases courage, strength and hope and helps the person find a peaceful place from which to look forwards. It can be used to aid those experiencing bereavement.

These remedies can be taken as drops in drinks or via an Aura Spray. The shorter, colder, darker days and/or the beginning of a New Year can affect the emotional state of many people. Be kind to yourself, accept your feelings and do all you can to make steps to lift your energy vibration back to its natural state.
