Goodness! Can you believe that it is that time of year again? It seems like it was yesterday when we were ringing in 2016 – and in a blink of an eye, we seem to be in the last month of 2016, about to herald in 2017. Time seems to be just zipping by so quickly that sometimes I find it hard to keep track of it. Normally at this time, I spend my time neurotically taking stock of the year – what I enjoyed, what I did not – letting go of everything that has not served my quest for perfection, and giving thanks to everything that did. After which, I would celebrate Christmas, in giving celebration of the year that is about to end. Then I make my New Year resolutions about what I want to do better, and have a little bubbly to celebrate new beginnings. This year though, my take about setting goals and resolutions for the New Year has changed. There is a change in the vibrational energy and general consciousness that is held on Earth. Earth is currently holding two different vibrations at this time. These new vibrations are bringing up much unfinished business to the surface both for individuals and for global consciousness. On a Macro level, we are seeing this panning out with the Economy and financial systems, Geopolitical structures, and the increased mobilisation of the masses against policies and structures that they are against. On an individual level, these new Vibrations provide all of us with the opportunity to step into a new way of Being. For as long as I have been on the spiritual path, I have heard the wisdom of those talking about the ‘I AM’ Presence – our Higher self, our Monad or God self. The mighty I AM is defined as our unique and immortal true identity and, as I have found, personally and with clients, has been within us the entire time. We are our ‘I AM’ presence. In starting the path to embody my ‘I AM’, I’m slowly coming to the realisation my new way of Being does not need for me to be perfect or make plans to be perfect. I have always thought that I had to work hard in my own self-development to make the grade – but now I am coming to the understanding that I was born with an A+ report – and all I have to do now is to realise it. So my New Year’s resolutions this year are very different from previous years’:
I think this New Year, 2017, I will reflect on all the positive aspects of myself and acknowledge myself for all that I AM. Instead of raising a glass to what I want to do better, I shall raise a glass to acknowledge who I AM. Instead of celebrating a New Year, I shall celebrate a Me Year. I would also like to a raise a glass to acknowledge You – to the Magnificence of all that You Are. Thank you for all you are and all you have been. I wish all of you a Wonderful You Year – filled with the joy, love and magnificence of the power of your ‘I AM’. Reena Kumarasingham
