Glass Half Full or Half Empty???

​The fact is that we sow what we reap. If you are thinking negative or self-limiting thoughts, that is what life will give you back. When we get to understand that, “Your thoughts create your future”, you are ready to change. A coaching session will concentrate on getting your inner world right and then your outer world will become right too. We are all too familiar with the little nagging voice inside our head that criticises us, telling us we are no good or could have done better etc.

The 18th century French philosopher Voltaire said these wise words. Now, 300 years on, many of us feel we are missing happiness in our lives. Working as a holistic coach using the mind-body-spirit approach to my work, the answer is clear:

A fundamental requirement is for you to take 100% responsibility for your life.

This might sound daunting but trust the process. After some training, your life will change.

It is crucial to learn to work in conjunction with the “Universal Laws”. These are the ancient and unchangeable principles we all knowingly or unknowingly living in accordance with. Then, life becomes far easier to live. Think about the one indisputable law, at least on earth, “The Law of Gravity”- if you step off a building, you will fall! The “Law of Attraction” says: like attracts like; we get more of what we focus on.

Some tools you will be taught during a 2½ hour positive coaching session:
​
  1. Accepting responsibility for your life.
  2. Letting go of negative experiences- they draw your energy and hold you back in life.
  3. Learn to show gratitude- count your blessings of what is good in your life.
  4. Positive thinking - create a new belief system.
  5. Visualisation - Einstein says: “Your imagination is your preview of life's coming attractions”.
  6. Goal setting - “By failing to plan, you are planning to fail”.
  7. Fear of failure - “Every successful person has at some point conquered some fears”.
  8. Affirmations - statements about yourself; self-talk to trust there is a rainbow of opportunities awaiting you.
  9. Work with the Universal Laws - live by them as they are here to help.
  10. Find daily relaxing time for calming the busy mind.
 
My strongest message is that happiness comes from within. Far too many people are looking for happiness outside themselves in our ‘I want it NOW’ society. You will never find it there.
