Astrology Forecast for April

Mercury the planet of communication,negotiation and perception goes retrograde from the 9th. This slows down the usual quick, witty energy as it appears to be travelling backwards in the sky. This period and the week or so before and after are not ideal times to sign contracts, buy new electrical equipment or make important agreements due to this weak phase of energy. Wait until Mercury is running full steam ahead from May 3rd.

Venus is still in retrograde until April 15th. This planet relates to love, relationships, finances and aesthetics. Not a good time to make major love life/ business decisions or change the way you look particularly around the face and head. So NO Botox, dying your hair a new colour or having a complete make over! In terms of business no major move rounds, shaking your employee line up etc. Any tensions that arise around relationships of any kind are a reminder that we learn and grow from relationships and they are not here to be perfect. Use this time as a period of evaluation rather than direct action. There is also a challenging aspect between Venus and Capricorn this month which may bring disappointment around love or finances.

Venus gets back into full flow from May 18th. 

The 11th sees a full Moon in Libra. Full moons are a time to take action and increase positive energy. The energy of the Moon is pouring down onto the earth and will fertilise whatever emotion you are feeling. It is vital to stay calm to receive the positive effects of this Moon. Libra is about balance, harmony and relationships. So, deep breaths and focus on all that you want to give in terms of your friendships and love life.

The 26th brings a New Moon in Taurus. The steadfast, reliable, earthy sign with a big heart and a love of pleasure. A time of new beginnings, planting new seeds with some honesty and earthy gumption. Taurus is not known for speed as it is a fixed sign where reliability and faithfulness hold key. Therefore, take any new steps with a sure foot and from the heart and you will reap a plentiful earthy harvest.
